2024 EDITION
The 2024 Edition of the Dubai Future Forum continues to promote the highest quality thought leadership on foresight and futurism from around the globe. This year, under the umbrella of the Empowering Generations theme, the Dubai Future Forum will aim to reflect diverse viewpoints on the UN Summit of the Future and then support in implementing the core outcomes and recommendations of the Summit. It will also more broadly seek to explore the possible futures for the world’s children, in an effort to ensure that these futures remain hopeful and positive.
Beyond its enduring commitment to nurturing future generations and empowering youth, the 2024 Edition will shine a spotlight on the critical domains of health, longevity, and the holistic well-being of individuals, societies and our planet, under the themes of Optimising Health, Transforming Humanity and Futuring Nature. Through inspirational presentations, immersive workshops and interactive sessions, attendees will be invited to not only speak about the future but engage in hands-on exploration, forging pathways toward a future where potential knows no bounds.

The global population will continue to grow for another three generations. It will be non-trivial to empower societies by offering solutions to humanity’s most complex and universal needs, optimising systems they rely on, safeguarding against risks that could make societies more fragile in the face of crises and extending individual and collective potential for growth, development and well-being.
Transforming Humanity
This is the power to radically change ways of life by replacing the models that countries, communities and individuals live by – if they don’t work. It’s more than the opportunities for generations yet to come: these new models enable individuals and communities to innovate, improve and aid the transformation of humanity to new digital and non-digital realities.
Foresight Insights
Foresight Insights explores tools to navigate a rapidly changing world. Anticipating the future aids decision-making, fosters understanding, and uncovers opportunities. Foresight connects the past, present, and possible futures, integrating diverse approaches for planning, strategy, and policy. Most excitingly, it discovers emerging topics, projecting into futures yet to unfold, extending beyond current understanding to shape more informed and innovative outcomes.
Futuring Nature
Our connection to nature shapes our future. As part of the natural world, our well-being depends on healthy ecosystems. Recognizing this, we must support nature’s regeneration by conserving biodiversity, restoring habitats, and addressing climate change. By acting as stewards of the Earth, we foster resilience and harmony. Embracing reciprocity ensures a future where humanity and nature thrive together for generations to come.
Optimising Health
Hippocrates' wisdom endures: “Health is the greatest of human blessings.” Health now encompasses technological innovation, mental health awareness, and systemic reforms. Advances like wearable devices and telemedicine enhance access, while public health addresses chronic conditions, environmental hazards, and social determinants. Mental health has gained prominence, yet disparities persist. By prioritizing health equity and holistic care, we can foster a resilient, thriving society for future generations.
